Michael is the former Chef/Owner of the Fusion Grille in Harford County and Alchemy on 36th St in Baltimore and is current chef/owner of Alchemy Elements in Bel Air. He studied at the Academy of Culinary Arts in Atlantic City and holds a Culinary Masterworks Certification. Michael has worked as a Corporate and Executive Chef for hotels, restaurants & resorts for over 40 years.
Owner Debi Bell-Matassa is Alchemy Elements' Sommelier and Pastry Chef. Debi studied at the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley and is a member of the Society of Wine Educators. She holds a Sommelier Certification through the Associazione Italiana Sommelier. Debi was also owner of the popular Fusion Grille in Fallston and Alchemy on 36th St in Baltimore.
